Mujia Xiao

My recent artworks focus on revealing the human nature and spiritual origin in our simulative trademarks. I use photo references from mass media, such as Newspapers, magazines and journals for approaching the cosmopolitan similarities between Eastern and Western culture. Through my artistic process I represent my personal concerns as the third person, capturing a freeze-frame of our reality. And, I try to recreate images, which embody a particular culture religion, or phenomenon.
