Mujia Xiao (b.1986) grew up in Shanghai, China. He received a BA in College of Fine Arts of Shanghai University where he focused on exploring academic narrative painting in 2008. He was rewarded Wang Jialian Scholarship of Fine Arts and his painting The Replica of Goteborg Is Coming to Shanghai was collected by Gothenburg fundraising foundation. It symbolized Shanghai citizens when he was a junior. He is an MFA Painting alumnus at the Savannah College of Art and Design and is exploring the role playing of humanity in small and large oil-based media paintings that pursue spiritual expression. Recently, he pursures MA illustration degree and lives Savannah, GA.
